The grandeur of the BOGE S-4 series now in “smaller packages”

From the energy-saving concept to effective sound insulation and easy maintenance that set the BOGE S-4 series apart from the competition – everything that makes the “big” BOGE S-4 compressors a top choice is now also available in a smaller segment, from 45 kW to 75 kW.

Every detail has been designed to put all the new models at the very top in terms of reliability, quiet operation and efficiency.

These new “small” compressors have passed tests in the toughest operating conditions, thanks to their hermetically sealed, directly coupled “IntegrateDrive” air end, which practically needs no additional regular maintenance. The result is minimal wear and a significantly longer service life.

02High output with low specific power

High output combined with low specific power is one of the main characteristics of the new “compact” S-4 models.

For example, on the 75 kW model electricity consumption has been cut by as much as 12% compared with the previous series, while the amount of air delivered has increased by 9%.

All models are fitted with generously sized components to effectively minimise internal pressure drops.

03Small, undemanding and easy to maintain

With a footprint of 1.18 × 1.98 m, the enclosure is extremely compact and smaller than in previous series, and because the air end is completely sealed, the new models are ideal for quarries, mines, construction and the food industry. This noticeably more “rational” enclosure is made possible partly by the IE4 and PM motors, known for their energy-efficient operation.

Innovative vertical oil separation keeps residual oil low and pressure drops negligible, which extends the compressor’s service life. On top of that, thanks to innovative design solutions, the compressor can be accessed from both sides, so filter changes are extremely simple and safe and all maintenance is easier.
